Why Are We Raising Money — and Where Is It Going?

There’s a common misconception that alumni fundraising is solely intended to support the current teams — and that those teams are no longer fundraising themselves. That’s simply not the case.

The Alumni Board has been actively collaborating with both the university and the current teams. We’re proud to share that the teams continue to pursue their own fundraising efforts and are also tapping into university funding opportunities.

Meanwhile, the Alumni Board is focused on long-term development initiatives that require significant investment. We’ve been in ongoing discussions with the university about programs that will strengthen the future of our community — from infrastructure improvements to legacy-building projects. As these plans take shape, we’ll keep you informed with updates.
